BITS OF THIS AND THAT

AND CLINT SAID, “MR PRESIDENT…..

It took this picture to get me back into this blog.

I have been busy and lazy.  The other day

I brought lunch up to Glade Park for the two of us.

One of the neighbors had put this together near the road.

It made me laugh, so I had to take a picture and

share it with you.

It was such a beautiful day.  We were able to have lunch

on the deck outside of the little cabing on the property up there.

As I was leaving 5 people on horseback rode up to use

the trails built on the property.  They were from the sheriff’s posse,

had just ridden in a parade up there, and didn’t want

to quit quite yet.  I don’t blame them.  The scent of the

pines was in the air.  Nothing is as fresh a smell as that.  Something

we don’t get in town.  We are so lucky to be able to have

that property to enjoy with it’s different vegetation.  There

are even cactii growing up there.  That really surprised me as we always have

at least some snow up there in the winter.  This area is always full of

surprises for this flatlander from Minnesota.
